If you are a reader of Daily Steeze material, it’s safe to assume thoroughly enjoy a high-energy dance party. Good news. Jimkata has jam after jam that will have you dancing, no matter where you are; just grooving out to their electro-rock. Jimkata has graced festivals such as Summer Camp, Camp Bisco, and Mountain Jam with their presence. They have performed on the same stages/at the same events as the likes of such diverse acts as Primus, LCD Soundsystem, Pretty Lights, all the way to The Roots.
Jimkata partially has the sound of an indie-band, with their superior jam-band guitar elements, while at the same time also emanating an EDM sound with their analog synthesizers and heavy bass-notes. If you are looking for a feel-good chill out new sound, check out Jimkata. They know how to tickle those nerves inside that just make you wanna jump out your seat and start jamming and grooving.
Check out one of our favorite tracks here at Daily Steeze, entitled “Chainstore”. It’s off their Die Digital album, which was released September 2012. You can purchase Die Digital here via iTunes.
