While Lollapalooza is known for its impressive stack of big name performers such Tame Impala, Flume, The Strokes and more, the festival holds many hidden gems looking to make a name at the world renown festival. One of those names this year is Boy Pablo. Pablo Munoz, aka Boy Pablo (age 19) has climbed quickly through the indie rock charts after his hit song “Everytime” and accompanying music video hit Youtube by storm. (Currently over 21 million views)

The simplistic video contains basic, home recording styled footage of Pablo and his friends playing by the waterside off the coast of Bergen, Norway. In the video, Pablo wears a light pink sweatshirt, playing a guitar pick shaped light blue guitar. The homemade video introduces you to the genuine warmth of friends playing music together, and the melancholy voice of Pablo. It is wholesome and soothing yet uplifting, and pretty much forces you to crack a smile. The surf guitar catchy riffs lull you into a feeling of tranquil peace leaving the listener satisfied, but wanting more.

Fast-forward two years, and this group of friends from Norway is preparing for one of music’s biggest stages, Lollapalooza 2019. If your looking for a break from the head banging EDM sets and hip hop mash pits, this band will ease your mind and fill your heart with love, giving you an escape from the chaos. Don’t miss your chance to see this sweet and talented young group perform before they embark back on their worldwide tour through the western hemisphere.
