After peeping this new album, appropriately titled The Invasion, consider your ears violently “invaded.” If you haven’t yet heard, Destroid is the EDM supergroup and live bass music ‘band’ whose three members include Excision, Downlink, and KJ Sawka, the former drummer from legendary EDM band Pendulum. WOW, what a combo.
On their official website here is how this unique group is described in their bio:
Bringing forth the next stage of the electronic movement, Destroid is the new mega collaboration led by Canadian bass master Excision featuring Downlink and KJ Sawka. A full-on live dubstep band executed in a way bass music has never seen, Destroid are ready to obliterate all that stand in their way.
Before this 10-track release, Destroid had two official single releases: Raise Your Fist (Released November, 2012) and Blast Off (Released January 2013). Both of these tracks are included in this new release, officially available to the public as of May 7th, 2013.
