Eliot Lipp Live at Casselman’s (Denver, CO) [SHOW REVIEW]

His passion for music shines through his eyes, as a smile never leaves his face. Never have I seen such joy shown through someone’s work. Eliot Lipp at Casselman’s Bar (Denver, CO) last Saturday was memorable to me in particular because of his dedication to his fans. A girl next to me shouted out a song name and he played it right then. It is hard to get this kind of working relationship with the artists we admire. He acknowledged her presence and granted her wish. Eliot Lipp, the newest artist on the Pretty Lights Music label has surely made a name for himself since coming on to the label in 2012. Prior to this, he has been releasing albums since he caught his break in 2004 with Eastern Developments and since then has released albums with Hefty Records and Old Tacoma Records. He is known for the funk and hip-hop that is incorporated into his sound. My personal favorite is the song “Tonight.” He is currently on tour headed towards the west coast before making it back to Colorado in September.
