The long awaited EP titled “Dream Season” from duo Half Color was officially debuted this week as a release on Super Best Records.
Half Color is a collab from PLM label mates Michal Menert and Paul Basic. Although this is their first actual Half Color release, the pair have been working together as Half Color since 2008.
The 5 track EP includes the super duo’s latest single “Divvy Up” something I can only describe as an Electro fairytale anthem. While the single stands alone it remains reminiscent of an over all tone of the album. The softer sounds blended with heavier glitches and sprinkles of some super sexy synth will have you floating down a stream of electronic awesomeness.
The Half Color project is not only a mixture of the seasoned styles of both artists, it produces a sound all its own and provides that familiar groove we all know and love. “Dream Season” can be streamed on both the duo’s Bandcamp as well as SoundCloud.
