Hundreds Thousands has just dropped his video for his earlier summer single, “Restless Serenade“. Zach Britt is known for his music production deeply rooted in folk/ singer song-writer structure juxtaposed with heavy influences from the electronic music world.
The backstory of this music video is something quite unique, and best told in Zach Britt (Hundreds Thousands)’s perspective:
“The dancer you are captivated by here is a beautiful human being named Tree. I met Tree at a small music festival in northern Thailand earlier this year. We shared a beer and a bottle of Jameson and danced through the weekend, then parted ways. About 3 weeks later, we ran serendipitously into each other at a night market in a smaller, more northern town called Pai. We were convinced that destiny had some collaborative effort in store for us, so 5 months later I asked if he’d be willing to send me some footage of him dancing to my new track, and he came back to me with this INCREDIBLE footage taken across SE Asia. I’m beyond grateful for my talented friend and his co-conspirator Julie Marfin (camera work).”
