The New York City future bass duo MEMBA has just released their latest single, “Inevitable”. This is now the third single from the duos much anticipated EP, “Saga II“, which is being released on the Foreign Family Collective sometime this month. The duo, containing producers Harrison Mills (aka Catacombkid) and Clayton Knight (aka Beaches Beaches), dives into a diverse field of electronic music production, mixing the sounds of synthesized future bass and electronica.
Their latest track contains the heavenly sounds eerily similar to the infamous, trail-blazing trio, Rufus Du Sol who is also a member of the Foreign Family Collective.
In describing the track, the group writes:
“Inevitable” reminds us to make the most of each day, building dreamy chords and uplifting atmospheres inspired by what the New York duo says is “the inevitable end we all face, and how this can be a motivator to live better now, rather than something to fear.”
Their music contains at times a dreamy indie electronica feel. However these New York City rising stars are not afraid to blend into the heavier bass infused sounds of trap music, mixed with upbeat kicks that keep the tracks lighthearted. They are a wonderful juxtaposition of the electronic music spectrum, proving their astute ability to connect with a mass variety of EDM listeners.
