“Ive been going through the storm. Once this album hits number 1, the storm is over.” – Young Thug

Today has been So Much Fun thanks to our favorite thug that never grows up. The Atlanta born rapper has turned 28 years old, and dropped his debut studio album containing 19 tracks, collected features from Gunna, Lil Baby, Future, and more reputable rhymers. You can follow the trail of slime all the way to the Billboard 200. On top of that, the single, Hot London, featuring J. Cole and Travis Scott, reached the  Hot 100 charts and peaked in the top 20 at number 12. GANG! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Because of Young Thug‘s eccentric individualism, So Much Fun is exactly what you’d expect. That’s a good thing. This is in part to the way he (and I quote), “slurs, shouts, whines and sings, feverishly contorting his voice into a series of odd timbres like a beautifully played, but broken wind instrument.” Big shoutout to The Fader, I, nor any other soul, could have said it better. Mix that in a pot with good lyricism, a slappy beat, and a 6’3″ rapper draped in women’s clothing. Call it a masterpiece.

Congratulations SEX! We love you, and are proud as hell. This is a colossal milestone that you’ve surpassed. To everyone out there, live, love, and prosper. Listen to So Much Fun while you’re at it!

(And before you even ask. Yes, Thugger had so much fun with this album, and no, Pussy is actually a joint about getting head and smashing weak willed men, not female genitalia)
